This was a great read. It's more like a 4.5 but trying to understand the dynamics of what Bas and Drew were to one another in the beginning was confusing and hard. It wasn't until Ezra became a more permanent entity in their lives did everything start to fall into place and perhaps that was out of design but it didn't quite work well for me. Once Ezra was there there, both Drew and Bas would open up with him about things they dared not open up to one another about. Things that were left unsaid for like 20 years. Love is love and this story not only challenges you to accept love between two men but then between three men. (Drew's family is uber conservative and just now started accepting him as a gay man when he then brings up his in a poly relationship). Love is love and sometimes you have to hold on to that love when there is nothing else and trust that it will all be alright in the end.
