Treachery, political intrigue, betrayal, treason, war, with some love, S&M sex, and pirates too!
I'm pleasantly surprised this second book in the series is as good as the first. I'm looking forward to the next one.
The first part was stronger than the rest, although the political intrigues were astounding as always. Loved the conflicts between Phedre and Joscelin. Ysandre was such amazing queen in this instalment.
Still sexy, drags a bit in the middle in Illyria. But hey - balkans! Also yay phedre and joseclin. Good for you you crazy kids.
