Once again, Michael Webb has written a brilliant adventure book.
Yes, it involves teens, but is the book only for YA, no way. It reminds me of the treasure hunting films that I've loved since I was small (Indiana Jones, National Treasure, maybe even a little of Jumanji).
It carries on from the previous book, but it is a bit of a separate story. This time, the group are trying to find the Lost City of Kyltaria, as before they encounter lots of trouble and some betrayal mixed in that slow them down.
It's a well written book with good engaging characters and great world building. This book, like the last one, is more story and character built. The world isn't that important until they get to the Lost City. It was a nice, easy to understand read and like before I thoroughly enjoyed it. The power system that Michael has done is brilliant. These characters don't just have a limitless supply, so they have to be careful, and as each character has a different power, they have to work as a team a lot throughout the story.
I would like to thank Michael again for giving me this book as an ARC, I have thoroughly enjoyed it and these are all my own views
