At this point, all i care about is the brothers' relationship with each others. Man... that Zsadist and Phury moments were so precious. And the way Phury clung to John T-T.
I'm really no good when it comes to sexy times. If these books got none of that, chef kiss.
Sooo... I read some nice reviews about this series and thought I could give it a go. But I guess it's too weird.
I enjoyed lots of it. The whole troubled hero thing, for instance, is cute. But I didn't like the alternate POVs, that mixed characters who were not the main couple, and jeez, who thought it would be a nice idea to have a guy named Zsadist as a hero, who has a twin brother named Phury? Lots of eye rolling every time I found them two in the same sentence.
Then there's the girl when, I'm sorry, no nice way to put it, she's in heat. I mean, what??? Six pages of her ‘in pain and needing to mate'. I was embarrassed by the weakness of the plot.
The ending is sweet, and there are intense, dark parts. Also, apparently the series has 8 or 9 titles, so I may at some point give another one a go. But I wouldn't give the high ratings it had, lest someone like me would think it is a life changing series.
