A REESE'S BOOK CLUB PICK A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER 'A wild and deeply satisfying rollercoaster ride . . . the most fun I've had reading a book in quite a while' - Taylor Jenkins Reid What if you had the winning lottery ticket that would change your life forever, but you couldn't cash it in? Lucky Armstrong is tough, talented and in real trouble. Having just pulled off a million-dollar heist with her boyfriend, she's preparing to start a brand new life, complete with new identity, when everything goes sideways. Suddenly Lucky finds herself completely alone, without the help of either her father or her boyfriend, the two figures from whom she's learned the art of the scam. When Lucky discovers that a lottery ticket she bought on a whim is worth millions, her elation is tempered by one big problem: cashing in the winning ticket means she'll be arrested for her crimes. As Lucky tries to avoid capture and make a future for herself, she must find a way to confront her own past and learn what it means to be independent and honest . . . before her luck runs out.

A fun story about con artists. I was happy that Lucky got her dog back in the end and met her real mother.
Reese's Book of the Month! This was a good book! Everyone seems to be a con artist and you don't know who to believe. Surprise around the 75% completion of book (Love surprises). Good characters and just 270 pages long! David N.
PS - I'm having good luck with Reese's Books of the Month Award!
I define a beach read as something you can start and finish on vacation.
This is a beach read!
I fired through this after my holiday, but I was beside a fireplace and saw the snow from my window. Close enough.
What I loved was the protagonist. She had real internal conflict, which I was captivated by. Her external conflicts were many... her father, her boyfriend, the authorities, the media. But as she struggled to understand her accountability in these relationships, her moral compass guided her to her truth. Really exciting adventure and read.
Where it lost a star for me was in the end. Although the end was satisfying, it went too fast for me. The frenetic pace meant I had to read it again, but it still didn't slow me down. Still, you will come away complete and share the book with a friend. Good sign.
