Suffers a bit from the novella problem - insta-love, not quite enough characterization. Still a lot of fun and I need to read more from her!!
‘Mangos and Mistletoe' fell short for me, mainly due to the character Kisekiya. Her portrayal made it challenging to connect with the story, she was very unlikeable. Her presence overshadowed the holiday charm, leaving the romance unconvincing and unsatisfying.
this was pretty fun & steamy but I didn't really like either of the main characters and the relationship moved waaay too fast for my liking. also, the baking was minimal!
Truth be told, it was hard to get into this one at first. Both voices were too similar and Zuskieya was just too hard to figure out and Sully was too pushy. The vibe was just off in the beginning and I had to step away for a day. This is a novella, y'all and I had to walk away. In the end it comes together nicely and it was sweet and beautiful.
