A wolf tries to eat a girl, but he hurts his head when he is trying to get her into his cave, and the girl takes pity on him and cares for him. The wolf changes and tries to avoid eating meat, but the wolf can't live like this, and he begins to die.
An oddly thoughtful picture book.
