On Wings of Blood

Admittedly I had some concerns with the bully romance aspects of the blurb since that's typically not something I enjoy reading but I was willing to take a chance to see Medra's story continue. Is Blake a shit sometimes? Absolutely lol. I'd argue his bigger flaw is not actually doing anything when others were.

That said, I still really enjoyed this. I loved seeing Medra grow as the story progressed and her finding her new found family in Florence and Naveen. It gave darker vampire Harry Potter vibes. Got a little spicy in and in some interesting ways. After the way it ended I am looking forward to the next one!

<spoiler>Also, hiding this under a spoiler but I'm kind of hoping someone else comes in next book and Blake isn't end game :D</spoiler>

Fun, different, interesting - this was a great read.
