This was my first Jeffery Archer book so I was unsure what to expect, but I ended up really enjoying it.
I loved Detective Warwick and will definitely be looking to catch up with the previous books in the series!
Despite not reading the previous books, I was still able to follow the story and characters without too much trouble.
Thank you to PH and Jeffery Archer for the chance to read this book.
William Warwick's adventures never disappoint!
Intricately woven plot with twists at the right points.
There isn't much of a story in this book. As a matter of fact, the entire story takes place in the last 5 chapters where William, Ross, and their team takes their actions seriously for the first time. The starting chapters (i.e, on the ship with the Buchanan's family) felt like it was from a different book. They don't even connect to the main story of apprehending Miles Faulkner.
There are so many sequences which felt like fillers to the main story. The critics who said Nail-biting twists and turns, Peerless master of the page-turner, etc., were all false and only work for money. I would not recommend this book at all.
