An enjoyable story of a man who is facing yet another bad crop on his Canadian prairie land. His neighbor, though, has family back in England and needs to go back—but breaks his leg before leaving. So our hero goes in his neighbor's stead, to check upon the kid brother who is being mistreated by his guardian. Saving the kid brother isn't quite as smooth a process as he hoped...
