Predator One

Finally we have a change of scene. We move away from a pandemic to focus now on a more current issue i.e drone tech. And you can see right from the outset that Maberry is out of his depth in this one from the technology standpoint and thus the premise at the start is poor. Apart from that, the outpouring emotion that is the core of his books remains strong. For the first time there is now a overt hint of the supernatural which was a bit of a surprise given that we know how this series is going to end. There were hints we were approaching the end of the series with the introduction of Sam Imura and the mention of Tommy too. Can't wait for the finale.
