Harper's the reliable sister. Always trying to keep her family together. She has held many jobs to feed and provided for her sister. From winning beauty pageants for the prize money. To getting her fanny pinched by assholes in Bars. Now this girly girl desperate for an income will find herself knee deep in cow shit as a ranch hand.

Bran miss judges the gorgeous Harper from the moment they first met. Seeing her as out of his League and judging her to be a snob. He was shocked to find her at his front door ready for a job interview. Will he be able to be her boss without acting on his attraction to her?

I liked these two. Not only was life happening around them but the plotline moved at a nice pace. Harper has been one of my favorite characters so far in this series. Which these days to find a female character that I enjoy is very, very rare. Yes she doesn't know s*** about Ranch work and yes she would rather be working in retail. But this is the job that she has and she's going to do her best at it. Harper is a fully developed female with emotions, grit, and logic. Shock and awe.
