It's very long and starts out really good. Family friend group since they were kids. Very tight knit. Lots of drama, love triangle, no cheating.
I loved Noah, so much. He was the best, mature, moma's boy and beautiful. Best character in the book!
“I'm inlove with her and if Im right, which I hope to hell Ism, shes on her way to loving me right back.
If she could, I'd need nothing else.
Just her.”
Lots of chaos in the last 20% of the book. I really liked it till then. Just really long and then alot if crazy stuff happened at the end. But ending was good, and I love an epilogue.
This was my first book by Meagan Brandy, and I am definitely adding more of her books to my TBR, maybe as audiobooks this time around to see if I can deal with them better that way.
This book, broke me, tore me apart and then put me back together. I rarely cry in books, but the last pages had me sobbing. I know that a lot of people didn't like this book because its a love triangle, but my dirty little secret is that I love them, when done right, like One True Lovers, of TJR. When the reader is also torn apart. After the first 1/3 of the book, and when we see how good Noah is, I want to reach inside the book and smack her on the head, and explain to her why she should just forget the other guy.
I don't want to spoil a lot of what is happening in this book, because is a whole experience, I liked it a lot, but I could just torn about 100 pages out and it wouldn't make any difference. If this book was a bit less it would have been so much more for me. But some parts of it, just dragged and dragged and I am ashamed to admit it but I was skimming through lines at some point.
Why didn't she just made it into a duology. One book until she realised how she felt for him, one book from the break up and the accident and forward?
god this book was absolute trash and i ate that shit UP
i read this book bc a booktoker said this book had the craziest plot twists and i was thinking, what kind of plot twists could a romance have that has it stacked up to verity? let's just the plot was def twisting, but it was LAUGHABLE just how ridiculous it was.
ok so spoilers:
i knew this was gonna take a turn for the ultra dramatic when ari got hit by the car, but never in my life did i expext ari to 1) be PREGNANT and lose the baby and 2) for her to have AMNESIA bgiuergnrenfow this book was ridiculous but i loved it. also i'm sure we all think chase is a snake for trying to take ari back after her slept with her and didn't want anything to do w/ her until she started falling for another guy. team noah. i love u noah.
anyway this book was way too long. 600+ pages? needed some editing for sure & i skimmed here n there but lol if u want a book to take u on a RIDE read this one.
