Maximum Ride: School's Out—Forever is the second book in the sci-fi action-adventure series Maximum Ride by James Patterson. The series centers on the 'Flock', a group of human-avian hybrids on the run from the scientists who created them. The 'flock' consists of 6 children who have different abilities; Angel can mind reads, Nudge can give more information about any thing she touches, and Iggy even though he is blind, can build the most sophisticated bombs.

Okay, so I wasn't impressed by the first book in the series, but I have to finish a story that I've started. Sometimes, my stubbornness works in my favour. The writing has improved and I'm now thoroughly enjoying the series, impatient to find out what happens next with Max and her flock.
Read 100 pages. Decided not to read anymore of this or future books. Goes no where. Explores many of the same things. Page turner for sure, but only because it is broken up into small chapter and very little happens in each chapter.
