3.5 stars. Hava, the main character, was unlikeable. The writing dragged on in spots and I found myself becoming bored.
Perfection! I have such a love for Hava - a hurt girl who is trying to figure out not to hide - and this was just wonderful to follow her. I loved all the babies - Moth especially.
Cashore writes emotions so well and this gave me a ton of them. Plus adding in pacifism and restorative justice? The best!!
