Not a bad mystery. Kept me wondering the whole time. I'm just confused why Daniel was filming Chloe and Hunter's parking-lot-discussion in the first place. Sure he was a filmmaker and liked to shoot everything, but he had no idea what was coming. You would think he would be at the dance and inside the gym, filming the students for a coming-of-age movie or something.
And I know why Hunter took matters into his own hands, but some of these things might have been better if he sent the police anonymous tips about his suspicions. Like the car. The police would have looked at it and seen the freezer in the garage without the possibility of Hunter getting into legal trouble.
Good story. I enjoyed it.
Edit: something that has been bugging me is that Hunter barely reacted when he saw Chloe's body. That's weird

This was a quick and highly entertaining read. Was it predictable? Yes. Was it far-fetched? Yes. Did I figure out the entire plot from early on? Also yes...however, it still had me furiously turning the pages.
