Silenced Girls

I can't really think of anything I didn't like about this book. Maybe it was a “TAD” bit too dragged out. I think that whole side story with Tori and the missing 2-year-old could have been left out completely and the story wouldn't have suffered at all. But that was a VERY minor issue. It sucked me in from the start and kept me turning the pages.

The characters were likable (although there were a couple times I thought Tori put a toe over the line into the “unlikable” category), but again, it wasn't a major issue. I was also really taken by surprise by who the “baddie” turned out to be. I am usually quite good at Sherlocking these things out, but this one was a genuine surprise. So kudos to the author for that!

I look forward to seeing what this author has in store for Tori next!
