This has been on my watch list for ages. I enjoyed this one quite a lot so will be reading more of it.

This was an unexpected surprise. I started reading this thinking it'd be a detective story, but instead I found monsters and weird conspiracies - which I liked. The plot was perfectly developed, and the ending left me wanting more. Of course, the art is stunning, and the colors bring out the best of each scene.
My only problem is the pace. Some panels were a bit boring compared to others, and I had to focus really hard to keep reading. However, I still think is a good story and I'd love to continue reading.
I got this book through Netgalley, and I thank to publishers for providing me this copy. My review isn't influenced by this fact.
Pretty decent horror comic. Intrigued enough to read more for sure. It's pretty feast or famine as far as plot progression goes. Seems like there's about two big scenes per issue. The art is nice and creepy. 3.5 stars.
This was so good! Stellar storytelling backed up by amazing artwork. Definitely gonna have to get (and stay) caught up on this series.
I enjoyed the graphics, and the story was pretty good, but this just wasn't my favorite. I'm pretty new to graphic novels and I just need to figure out what I like. I don't have anything bad to say about this, it just wasn't for me.
I received a copy from Net Galley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Horror. Graphically so.
I'm not a fan of the artwork. The submissions at the end of the volume were more my vibe. With that said, I thought I was going to be super uber scared, but surprisingly, I'm not. This is gory and quite graphic. I really do like how it dives right into telling the story and I'm liking how it's being told.
On to Vol 2.
SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN VOLUME 1 is the beginning of an intriguing horror comic. The lone survivor of a violet attack in the woods meets a mysterious woman who's come to town to discover and stop what's killing the children. I enjoyed the art and concept of this book, but I found the world building and plot a bit sparse. Five issues in and I have a lot of questions and feel like not that much has really happened. Still, it's the beginning of a series and it hooked my interest. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
