4.5 Playful and with a nod to Octavia Butler

I've been in love with Pinsker's writing for quite a while. I think it was last year, when I was trying to read all of the Nebula nominees and read And Then There Were (N-One). Holy smokes, so very good. That story is in here, as well as a ton of others I have not read. I loved the one about the sirens trapping the sailors on the island and the band on tour across the country. There wasn't a dud in the bunch. I'll be thinking about The Narwhal for a long time.
