Split

For me this book was nice. I decided to stretch my reading tastes a bit, and in honor of Valentine's Day, listen to this book on audio. I think that this story worked well for me, especially seeing how each character managed to grow by the end.

One of the things that I hate in many romance stories is how they have the “Will they get together or won't they?” scene at the very end of the book. Normally, this is, in my opinion, a cheap way for the author to have a last bit of drama, but here it is done better, with real stakes for both characters.

I think that this book was very well done. I give it a four out of five.
