A long book - the good bits were excellent but there were some passages that I thought were overly long and overwritten and these got a little tedious. A little rest before I start the final (even longer) part

Blah. This book was so unbelievably slow with almost no payoff. Far longer than it needed to be. I don't know if I can bear to read book 3 if its more of this. I adored book 1 despite its flaws. In this entry the flaws far outweighed the good.

Still amazing.

I read the previous book, The Dragonbone Chair years ago, so I was glad to read the recap before reading on. There were times when the plot jumped around and I had trouble keeping track, but overall I liked this book and I look forward to reading the final book, To the Green Tower.

Still want to punch most of the characters, but I think this book was all about personal fragility, and some general buttheadedness...
I love the audible version of this, very well read. Now to book 3....
