Surrender to Sin

I really really can not get down with the narrator. Everyone raves about book 2 and so I always try to start with book one unless I know for sure they are each standalones within a series. I started with book one... it's the shortest book I've ever read that took me a month to read. It's only a 3 hour audiobook! Good lordt.

I think I would appreciate book 2 more if I read it with my eyeballs. We shall see. It's an interesting concept in a historical but I had a hard time connecting with the entirety of the story.
