Tears of Pearl

While I love the characters in this series and the wonderful way that Ms Alexander builds the environment, I found this episode in the serial dull. With just 50 pages left, I couldn't bring myself to finish the book. I just didn't care who-dunnit. The story felt labored by the complexities of the courtly world in which it was created.
