Actual review closer to 3.5 stars. Easy enough read and the author writes well. I didn't expect how it played out but it kind of seemed a bit too far fetched for me in some respects. (She HAD to know that apartment was too good to be true!)
I really enjoyed reading this but found this to be a letdown for me. The plots were a mystery, I found the characters had a sense of creepiness all around and everywhere in the house. It gave me the vibes of a haunted house, Adams family and Saw 2 in a way (if you're a horror movie fan you'd know what I'm talking about). Even more so I loved the psychological part that played hugely in this. Though as much as I want to give this a full on 5 stars, the pace of the story very slow, it didn't keep me on my feet to see what to come. The upcoming plot/climax got me hooked but then downhill where everything seemed to simmer. I also had abit of an issue with Freya, I thought her character was very uptight and oblivious when she knew something wasn't right yet she bypassed her suspiciousness. Overall I thought there was a lot of good characteristics in this story to say the least!
