I enjoyed this addition, but there were some drawbacks in my reading experience. I think some of it is just me being an adult reading a middle grade book. Most of these are not knocks on the book, just subjective opinions I had while reading.
First, I really enjoyed the character dynamics throughout this book. All of the character and relationship development that happened felt very rewarding as a reader. The plot was interesting, but I think there wasn't enough stakes in the Labyrinth. The way it was described, it was this terrifying, ever changing place that was near impossible to traverse. One camper went mad from being in there. However, Percy and co. all got through basically unscathed. While they faced challenges, they all seemed easily bested. I know this may be a product of the genre, but I feel like with Percy getting older, the stakes should also get higher. They felt pretty high in the last book. Maybe I'm just being picky.
I also find the narrator of the audiobook frustrating. Now this I know is a product of the target age group. The villains all just have very stereotypical voices and it makes them seem way less scary and evil and they just sound comical. Again, this is just me reading as an adult. I understand why this would appeal to a younger age range.
Overall, I did actually enjoy this book. I liked the character progression and I think the plot is going in an interesting direction. There were just some things that annoyed me within.

I should've been finished with this book, or even the series in general, if only I haven't been doing constant summer vacations around northern and southern Luzon these past few days. I finally had the time to finish this today and here's my quick review for The Battle of the Labyrinth.
This book is well-worth reading. It lived up to my expectations and it just keeps getting better and better. New characters and gods were introduced and it gives us new elements on the darker world of Greek mythology as it draws closer to the final book and the battle between the gods and the titans.
Riordan's writing never failed to amuse me. He's constantly witty and humorous throughout the entire book and he's always giving way to all the characters. He uses them all appropriately without getting too confusing and somewhat forgettable.
I'm actually running out of favourable adjectives on how amazing this book is. This is by far the best one in the series in my own opinion at least. I highly recommend this book (or even the series) if you want a never ending adventure.
The final battle is coming. I'm so excited to get to the final book. What a wonderful series.
Book four arrived a day after the release date. I felt like Christmas had come and gone and Santa had forgotten me. I got over it quickly, however, when the book found its way into my hands. It was another Riordan can't-put-it-down-till-I'm-finished book. I actually read until two in the morning to get to the end. Lots of new-old monsters and its setting in the labyrinth is ideal. Rick, I hope you are writing like a madman on book five.
I loooved this book! It was the best of the series so far and got me really excited for the last book.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I couldn't stand Annabeth through this book. For a daughter of Athena she is beyond unreasonable and I just wanted to throttle her.
Dios que libro INCREIBLE simplemente maravilloso, me encantó de principio a fin, comparte puesto n1 con “the titan’s curse” porque no puedo decidir cual me encantó más
(No estoy lista para lo que se viene)
The fourth installment in the series is one of the most memorable for me, and has always been my favorite. If you've made it this far you can't just stop now.
Age range: 10+
Younger readers may find it a little scary.
Q buen libro, creo que cada que acabo uno siempre cambio de favorito, me gustó demasiado, gran evolución de la historia. No se porque pero llore con el final, problemas emocionales míos
In this book, Percy Jackson and his friends must navigate through Deadalus's underground labyrinth to stop the Titan Lord Kronos from invading their precious Camp Half-Blood. The growing tension and danger is obvious in this book. Kronos is getting closer and the heroes' actions are getting more desperate but they are also getting stronger. This is an interesting series because the books usually take place over a very action-packed week or so. The next book then usually picks up about a year later so the reader does not witness all the growing up the characters go through. The characters grow nonetheless and it truly becomes obvious in this book that they are no longer children just getting immensely lucky (although Percy has a knack for getting immensely lucky).
this was the hardest book to get thru in the series for some reason idk it was good tho
