James Rollins never fails to amaze me....

I had a hard time getting into the book because I wasn't familiar with any of the characters, but that's my own fault. Once I got deeper into the story though, it was quite good. However, I still feel like I couldn't connect with any of the characters and I didn't like the love triangle.

Apparently Rollins writing wasn't for me. It seemed to drag and then quickly jump. I listened to the audio version. So maybe the book version there would be clues that the storyline is jumping. I was tempted to quit listening but I like to stick with it and give the book a chance.
