Interesting Lost File from the perspective of the Mogadorians, showing the lifestyle of Adam and young Mogs in general. He has a difficult relationship with his family, but through some alien science is given a special link to Number One, learning from her memories and experiences. They form somewhat of a friendship, despite his contrasting upbringing and worldview, and she haunts him as Adamus encounters the Garde Two and Three. Whilst this takes the novel across the globe, it was really a brief and entertaining look at the first three Garde from key character Adam's perspective.
This is has to be short and sweet because you absolutely have to experience this one for yourself without spoilers.
I really liked how this short was written. It was a unique approach and a different style of writing than what we are used to. You find out what happened to One, Two and Three through the eyes of someone else. But there is more. You get a glimpse of what it's like to be part of the Mogadorian society, how they raise their children, train, carry on while living on Earth. Yeah, they're still a creepy bunch...
I loved it!
I loved how this story was woven and although I knew the first three Garde would die, I kept hoping that something would be different... I kept hoping for hope. Interesting, I know.
This intriguing story pieces many things together and ends with a gargantuan cliff hanger. You won't be disappointed.
