The best of the series so far. I like the author's pop culture references blended into an action-packed magical police procedural. I also read the first issue of the comic book series just out. It looks to be equally entertaining.
Best one yet
This one is all about Peter. I know all the stories are but this one is more about him. You feel for him and can understand the pain he feels after being betrayed. His relationship with Beverly has blossomed. The story has just the right amount of romance. Not much time is spent on it but enough that informs you of his and others thinking.
I liked the invention of the magic detectors and expanding the world to include another practitioner, the bee lady and learning more about Molly. a weird and complicated mystery.
