The Final Gambit

The third (and final?) book in the Inheritance Games series. Avery and the Hawthorne boys have more games and riddles to solve to secure the fortune. The stakes are raised and the tension is present in the audiobook performance.

I'm not good at puzzles and riddles myself, but I enjoyed listening to these characters figure it out.

There was a subtle love triangle between Avery, Jameson, and Greyson that didn't do anything for me. Maybe if I read it, instead of listening, it might have played out better.

The end does leave it open for a fourth book or a spinoff. I'm not sure if one is planned. I did like the ending and how the fortune is dealt with!
