Here's hoping I'll forget everything that happened in this short story by next year so I can read it again!
WHAT DID I JUST READ?? The amount of times my brain blew in this short as fuck book. That's really so hard to do. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just what I needed right now. I love it so much.
Better than I was expecting, but still not a knock out of the park. A short little thriller for the Christmas season.

This short story was very ironic. A little...too ironic?
No, but seriously nice Twilight Zone-esque tale here. Just enough amount of humor and pain. The epilogue was icing on the cake.
I tell you what, no one can write an epilogue like Freida. This was an interesting reimagining of The Gift of the Magi. I'm familiar with the story but Freida sure put a twist on it! It wasn't my favorite Freida but I'm not mad I read it. It was a nice Christmas thriller story.
