The Girl on the Train

Suspenseful? Sure. I'll give it that. But that's the only thing good I have to say about this book. It's full of cliches and reader manipulation, including conveniently omitted information from all three first-person narrators. If all the women in the book weren't so vile I'd claim that the horrible male characters were evidence of the author's misandry. But, no, really I wanted all the characters to get run over by the damn train. You've probably already read this book, but I wish I hadn't bothered.
