The Girl With No Past

I so hope that this is book 1 of a series! I want to see what happens next.
I like the historical aspects without it getting too bogged down in historical minutiae. The plot leaves lots of room for historical anomalies to be explained.
Some of the romance tropes annoyed me, but I kept reading anyway. In the end, the romance is sweet and satisfying.
The rival companies were a great addition. They offered lots of drama and chances for betrayal. The bad guys were very bad and the good guys were reasonably good. I can't wait to see them again.
