At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy's instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through Gaea's forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors from both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. I liked this book, but for some reason I was thinking it would be the conclusion. It was not.
See you next October, demigods.
It's not that I didn't like it, it's that I don't care for most of the new characters. If I care about any. I was here for Percy, Annabeth and Nico so you can imagine I wasn't too interested in many of the POVs in this book.
