What a great way to start off my 2020! Reading this incredible book made me wish that Mademoiselle Carriveau was my language teacher in high school. I just adored those two together. Everything felt so real and I did I mention I wished I had teacher like Carriveau?

The angsty moments were a bit much and I wish the ending didn't feel so rushed, but I will definitely be on the lookout for more of the authors work!!
