I have heard many things about Lucy Foley and her works so I was very excited to finally pick one of them up and give it a go.
The atmosphere was what had me hooked from start to finish. The idea of being isolated from civilisation whilst being a part of a whodunnit murder mystery is eerily fantastic. This is exactly what you want when you look for a good Thriller to read.
The characters weren't likeable. They were obnoxious, entitled and they each had their secrets and pasts that they wanted to keep hidden from one another. It's because of this that the victim not being revealed until the very end of the book was such a great way to keep us guessing and wanting more.
The reason why I couldn't rate this any higher than I had was that the ending felt rushed and I felt it left some questions unanswered.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and I am excited to check out more by this author.
