Salvatore has taken us on a journey with Drizzt. It been a great ride and sometimes you never want these rides to end. But end they must. And I was hoping that this would be it. That Drizzt would go out in a blaze of glory and live only in our memories. Pardon me folks but that is not what this book was about. For the uninitiated, this book is about rebirth. This book is about Sundering. This book is about forgotten realms. This book is about many things but Drizzt. So it feels and is rushed. It is but a step to the upcoming Sundering book. And while I do so want to see the Companions of the Hall together again I cant help feel we are way beyond that point. Lets see what the companions Codex brings!
