The Liberian Legacy Trilogy

They say you can't go home again, but sometimes you must. In 2000, at the height of the brutal civil war in Liberia, West Africa, Cora and her 83 year old father travel to Liberia. The two of them are detained and arrested by a child soldier and forced to reckon with their own contributions and connection to the history of that troubled land.
