When I was diagnosed with diabetes Type 2 in 2004 I came across this book. I could only find it on Walmart.com and it was not a whole lot of money. It has more info than any other source for low carb. The recipes are healthy, easy, and plenteous. The tables for all kinds of processed and raw food and their caloric,glycemic, etc is hard to find all together. Now you can find it on Amazon.com for even less. It covers and compares 9 different low carb diets. Then says ok make up your own for what works for you. Deals with food, exercise, etc and gives you a block of info that helps you to learn to make INFORMED decisions including portion control. Really helps and gives you everything in one source. Get the book and really start to enjoy life with no worries and no guilt.
