Unfortunately this one missed the mark a tiny bit. Read The One and The Passengers instead, they are both easy 5 stars.
This was my first ever John Marrs book, and despite the fact that it's taken a while to finish it, I really enjoyed it.
It is really well written, with great characterisation and plenty of suspense and psychological intrigue.
I will definitely be reading the rest of John's books!
A gripping thriller that explores the dark complexities of technology and morality which left me questioning the limits of surveillance and privacy.
RTC. I didn't like it :( but I love John Marrs so much I can't rate this low.
This was way too all over the place and the plot twists and plot lines were too wild.
It was hard to swallow that government has some test to pick ppl to insert all the government secrets in their head. Knowing how the government works, it takes forever to do anything buried in procedures and for this....you'd be slammed into top secret and pretty much jailed away. So I didn't buy the premise which made my enjoyment less.

I've previously loved John Marrs' work but for some reason this just didn't hit me as hard as those did.
Still would say it's a fun read.
