The Red Threads of Fortune

Kidding aside, though: wow. Just. WOW. When I finished The Black Tides of Heaven I admit I wasn't quite sure what The Red Threads of Fortune would be like. Would it be a continuation of the story? The same story but from Mokoya's perspective (since The Black Tides of Heaven is told from Akeha's POV)? Turns out it's the former, but dear sweet gods above, I was NOT expecting how much of an emotional punch Red Threads of Fortune would deliver. The grief and the fear and the RAGE... I can't say I absolutely completely relate to everything that happens to the character central to this story, but I can absolutely say that I relate to the rage.

On a less maudlin note: I want to ride a naga. And I want a small raptor pack (flock?).
