A foster child named Angel and twelve-year-old Stella, who are living with Stella's great-aunt Louise at the Linger Longer Cottage Colony on Cape Cod, secretly assume responsibility for the vacation rentals when Louise unexpectedly dies and the girls are afraid of being returned to the foster care system.

I loved this. The girls are probably two of the MOST resourceful kids I have ever read about, plus I am a sucker for kids who manage on their own. I will be recommending this one. My one teeny tiny issue was with the ending which was a little too neatly packaged for me. Most readers will find it very satisfying, if not very realistic (life is just not that easy). Still, Angel and Stella are great characters and I found them to be inspiring and full of fun. Great read.
