The Summer Proposal

I wanted to love this book but I couldn't get past the current fiancé part. Max was a amazing guy and I love hockey romances but I couldn't deal with the whole open relationship aspect. Yes, he wasn't the right person for her but she clearly wasn't on board with the open relationship at first and then it was like a 180 let's go out with Max. I'm sure Vi handled the eventually blowup at the end but I couldn't get through it the middle to get there personally.

I really enjoyed this book! A few places made me ugly cry and several spots made laugh out loud so this goes to the top shelf as one of my favorite Vi Keeland books of all time ... though I am a little biased since it was a hockey sports romance. ;) It was real and it was great! I recommend it to fans of both Vi and hockey romance. <3
