A purple person is an everyday superhero! How do you become one? That’s the fun part! Penny Purple will lead you through the steps. Get ready to be silly, exercise your curiosity, use your voice, and be inspired. Looking to reach beyond the political divide of red and blue, Kristen Bell and Benjamin Hart have created a hilarious and joyous read-aloud that offers a wonderful message about embracing the things that bring us together as humans. This book will inspire a whole generation to paint the world purple!

In general, I'm not a fan of celebrity authors. You're a good basketball player? Play basketball. Good actor? Act. Don't try to write I book, I say.
This one is not bad. It's serendipitous (though I must say it's disappointing that Bell has her character denigrate Brussel sprouts. C'mon. Brussel sprouts are amazing.) And these aren't normal times. We could all use a bit more purple in our lives.
Bell suggests you can become a purple person by (1) asking really great questions; (2) laughing a lot; (3) using your voice; (4) being a really hard worker; and (5) being totally you. I'm not terribly sure about 3, 4, and 5, but I do like 1 and 2.
