Thrice Wedded

I read this years ago before my Goodreads days and never got around to adding my copy here, since it wasn't previously in the GR database. I lost count of how many times I reread it back then, but this is Victorian melodrama at its best, complete with a dose of caves and Italian banditti and long-separated lovers. It's not high literature and would probably be predictable for anyone who makes a steady diet of the genre, but back in the day I hadn't read much and didn't see much of anything coming. The rating is given as an emotional recollection of a well-read tale.
