It's been a while since I've read a cute romance that had me giggling and kicking my feet. I am so happy that I picked this up!
I loved that the storyline jumped between the present day and the past. It made me feel like I was watching Aspen and Rome fall in love with one another in both timelines.
Roman has to be one of my favourite male protagonists that I have read. He is so selfless and supportive. I could not think of a single red flag when it came to him. He is the definition of the perfect book boyfriend.
I loved that this book was inspired by the Taylor Swift song and I loved how sweet this story is. I also love that each chapter had a song dedicated to it.
I would've loved to have a chapter written from Rome's point of view.
Overall, this was a super sweet romance that would be great for anyone who is stuck in a reading slump or just wants a cozy romance.
Thank you to NetGalley and Parson Press for providing me with this ARC. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I ment to read this over the holdiays but didn't get a chance to, now I have time for reading again it was at the top of my TBR and I am so glad i read it now.
Considering this was written by a 16 year old it is so well done, with both charecters having a detailed background and even tho one of the main charecters had a lot of trauma it was written in a grown up and aproachable way.
The only major issue I had with this book was the 2 plots going on at once, I would have liked it is it was a series and the first book was the past and the 2nd was present day.
This was a very cute and very quick read. It reads more like a YA romance than a contemporary one despite the main characters being in their 20s. I didn't mind that aspect but some readers may not enjoy it.
I love the short chapters and the dual timelines. The story itself was sweet and overall I enjoyed this one.
I sincerely appreciate the author and NetGalley for the review copy.
