You know when the horror scene has got you so burnt out that you just want a romance, but romance between humans seems a little much? Apparently monster romance has your back (thank you monster romance you're a real one!). I'm seriously not a romance reader so I have no idea if this one was a good one for the genre, but I thought it was fun for the most part.
Do I get the Daddy Dom thing? Absolutely not. Am I still sex repulsed? Absolutely. Did I still have fun? Yes, it was cute at times and I thought the spice wasn't too gross for me even though there's a fair bit of it. Was this review a mess? Totally, you're welcome.
Titan is the book that made me realize I need to go outside and touch grass—because clearly, I've strayed too far from the light of God. This book dives so deep into dark, twisted dynamics that I found myself questioning not just the characters, but myself. It's a wild, boundary-pushing ride that will have you reflecting on your own psyche by the end.
The main character's daddy issues? Yeah, let's just say I should probably seek therapy after reading this. The power imbalances, obsession, and trauma explored in Titan hit way too close to home at times. It's a story that drags you into the depths of depravity, yet keeps you hooked with its intense plot and complex relationships.
While it's undeniably well-written and emotionally gripping, Titan left me feeling like I need a spiritual cleanse. It's the kind of book that stays with you, but maybe not for the reasons you'd want. Proceed with caution—and perhaps schedule a therapy session afterward.
