This is not my normal genre but I was really interested in hearing some of the crazy stuff going on inside Scientology.
Audio read by Leah. Quick, surface listen, but all I knew of scientology was founded by LRH and some wackadoo celebrities are fans, so some of the details were interesting and gossipy.
This was both heartbreaking and truly beautiful. I learned a lot about Scientology while also hearing a beautiful story of friendship and family. Fully recommend
I love Leah Remini. I love her honesty in here and how hard she tired to follow her religion. Her following it so hard is what led her to realize the problems and see the truth. Very honest and truthful.
I loved this more than I thought I would. Leah is a great audio reader - authentic, funny, and professional. I learned a lot about Scientology.
I have to say that I liked this lots more than I thought I would. I find Leah's book funny and her stories relatable. I don't know much about Scientology but I find the stories funny. This year has been filled with books I didn't think I would like and find myself loving them.
Great book. Leah's character and the way she reads it makes this an entertaining read. Quite informative with scientology being so private.
I loved this book. I listened to it as an audiobook and I highly recommend anyone interested in the book do the same. Hearing Leah's story in her own voice, thick Brooklyn accent and all, is so raw and powerful and real. It felt as if I was in a room with her and she was actually talking to me about her life. 100% recommend this book if you are interested at all in her show or in the horrible organization that is Scientology.
