Getting into the heads of these characters after meeting them for two books and seeing their interactions, has been wonderful.
Josh is a complex character, not as serious or dark as Alex could be and not at all like Rhys. After the past events in the previous books I wanted to see how Josh felt and how he felt about everything that had happened, not just what he thought of Jules.

Jules is a character that from the first book we see her potential, her strong personality that does not go unnoticed has not been less in this book, with a story to tell and something to prove.

Josh and Jules go from that hatred they had to trust each other little by little, without themselves realizing it until it happens. It has been a relationship between them that we have seen in the previous books, only now hotter and little by little with more trust and friendship. If it's true that there was one thing I didn't like in the relationship about Josh, but they're gray characters, neither good nor bad, and I could come to understand the reason for the situation.

Obviously we see the previous characters, we know Stella's love interest and we have moments of Josh and Alex again, something I've loved reading about after what happened.

Josh es un personaje complejo, no es tan serio o dark como podía ser Alex y no es para nada como Rhys. Después de los eventos pasados en los anteriores libros tenía ganas de ver como se sentía Josh y que opinaba de todo lo que había sucedido, no solamente lo que pensaba de Jules.

Jules es un personaje que desde el primer libro vemos su potencial, su fuerte personalidad que no pasa desapercibida no ha sido menos en este libro, con una historia que contar y algo que demostrar.

Josh y Jules pasan de ese odio que tenían a confiar en el otro poco a poco, sin ellos mismos darse cuenta hasta que sucede. Ha sido una relación entre ellos que hemos visto en los libros anteriores, solo ahora más hot y poco a poco con más confianza y amistad. Si es cierto que hubo una cosa que no me gustó en la relación respecto a Josh, pero son personajes grises, ni buenos ni malos, y podía llegar a entender el porqué de la situación.

Obviamente vemos a los personajes anteriores, sabemos el interés amoroso de Stella y volvemos a tener momentos de Josh y Alex, algo que me ha encantado leer después de lo que sucedió.

Gracias Ana por la maravillosa oportunidad de leer a esta pareja.

This was a hard one for me. Overly long, felt like an ad for a spin off for Christian's security business friends at the end of it which makes me worried for the next book.

Jules' backstory was sad, and she opened up to Josh about it. I'm in the camp that the third act conflict was unforgivable and I think she deserves better. Like...in every way.

Ik weet niet zo goed of ik dit nu een goed of een langdradig boek vond. Ik vind dat het boek een stuk ingekort had kunnen worden, want er waren delen in het boek die niet echt van belang waren.
De side plots van dit boek waren wel echt heel goed. Ik vind het ook echt leuk dat je nog deels in de andere 3 meiden hun leven kan kijken. Bijvoorbeeld hoe het nu is met Bridget en dat Alex en Ava nu gaan trouwen!! Ik vind het heel leuk dat het in deze boeken niet alleen om de romance gaat. Daardoor leest het heel makkelijk weg

As mad as Josh had me this book was good. The tiktoks that I’ve seen about Josh’s book did not prepare me for chapter 46…. Josh did entirely too much. Yes, he was angry, rightfully so but he took it too far.

THANK YOU, ALEX! For talking some sense into that airhead! The fact that he was so shocked that she thought he would judge her was funny because the man judged her from the moment they met, so her doubt was more than valid.

In my opinion, Jules forgave him way too fast… that’s all I have to say on that and everything that was said right after.

Anyways, the book wasn’t about this guy but what little we did get from Alex just intensified the favoritism 🤭 yup, I’m an Alex girly through and through.

This can be read as a standalone but I'd highly recommend reading the first two in the series to get the most out of it.

A great fit for the enemies-to-lovers trope with complex characters and solid writing. If you like witty banter, possessive alpha males, and a bit of mystery that doesn't leave you hanging then this book is for you.

I'm looking forward to the next one already.

Setelah DNF Twisted Love & Twisted Games, aku bertekad harus menyelesaikan Twisted Hate. Disini giliran Josh Chen, kakak Ava, dan Jules Ambrose, satu diantara tiga sahabat Ava, selain Bridget dan Stella.
Josh dan Jules tidak saling menyukai sejak awal. Josh menganggap Jules memberi pengaruh buruk pada Ava, layaknya seorang kakak Josh sudah mengingatkan hal ini pada Ava ketika pertama kali Ava dan Jules terkena masalah. Jules tidak sengaja mencuri dengar hal ini dan Jules menjadi musuh bebuyutan Josh.
Berawal dari perjanjian gencatan senjata antara Josh dan Jules karena mereka bekerja di tempat yang sama. Lalu berlanjut pada “enemy with benefit”. Dan akhirnya sudah bisa ditebak, mereka saling jatuh cinta.
Buat aku terlalu banyak cringe dan untuk sebuah novel romance, halamannya terlalu banyak. Sudah kuputuskan aku kurang cocok dengan penulis ini.

I went into this book because i have a shelf named ‘finish these series asap' and this has been on it for over a year. I did not expect to like it, simply because I wasn't really a fan of the first two; they had a few great moments but I wasn't obsessed to say the least.
here's my reviews of the others:

clearly the books keep getting better or I'm just getting used to the writing-. Overall, they all still have the ‘Ana Huang formula'(which i will breakdown in painstaking detail), :
➙ One protagonist haunted by their past hiding it from everybody (this becomes the basis of the third act argument)
➙ The other protagonist also having problems; however these are only to make them interesting therefore they can't be AS serious as protagonist 1.
➙ Add in sex scenes with the mmc being all dominant and sprinkle some degradation kink.
➙ Hideous third act argument (in this case especially; i wanted to strangle josh)
➙ groveling and then we have the happily ever after

I'm not saying it's bad or isn't working (because clearly, i rated this book a 4 stars) ; it's just it's very similar to the other books in the series. However, I WAS more fond of Jules and Josh, simply because their story felt a lot more normal. no princesses, bodyguards or billionaires i guess bahah. I also liked that there wasn't a wedding or babies, and the epilogues were just cute moments, a few months into the future because that's what their characters felt like.

Overall, fun, fast paced and likeable characters with lots of chemistry (that! stays! even! after! they! get! together!)
So, don't stop after twisted games (like i did) because i promise it gets better:) super excited to read Stella's book.

4.5 stars!!!! This was so amazing. I think Twisted Hate is my favorite in the series. I fucking loves Jules so much. I relate to her so much while reading in her perspective. I am an Jules Ambrose stan for life now.

Another surprise for me was honestly how much I love Josh. When I was reading Twisted Love, I didn't like him at all. I thought I was gonna dread reading from his perspective. But I related to Josh as well. He felt so real. But my only beef with him was what he did to Jules in Chapter 46. I understand where he was coming and feeling, it still fucking sucked he did that.

But overall, this book was amazing. I really hope one day the Twisted series get an TV series one day.

I was very skeptical about this book. Enemies to lovers isn't always my thing, but this one may have me changing my game. I loved Josh and Jules from the beginning. Their hate, their banter, their moods, their everything. It got better as time went on and I really, really enjoyed this book. I've seen plenty of readers saying the Twisted Games was their favorite, but so far, I think Twisted Hate might be mine. I keep falling head over heels all over again each time we see and talk to Alex from Twisted Hate. You know, I may not be able to pick a favorite from this series once I'm finished.

They had a lot of stuff happen to them in their past but they way they were there for each other through it was awesome. They were absolutely made for each other. And the bookstore?! Are you kidding me?! The best date ever.
