This book broke my heart and then started to put me back together again. It was not at all how I imagined it to be and I'm so glad. This book made me think about myself of some of the thoughts I have at times. It showed me both sides of how one decision can affect many people. It's definitely something I needed to read. I'll be buying my own personal copy very soon I'm sure, this is something I know I'll want and have to read again.
To quote my text to Racquel immediately after finishing, “This book broke me. In two. I think I just cried my bodyweight in tears.”
Not sure if I'll be able to fully review this one. It is as beautiful and tragic as the cover implies and moreso. If you have tissues nearby and are ready to have your heart kicked repeatedly, I would highly recommend it.
