Waking the Watcher

A fantastic story of wanting what you shouldn't have. The pull and pull between Galen and Sariel, the vampire and fallen Angel/ watcher that shares his consciousness is just riveting. Constantly wondering who was going to win out. Then there is Reece, the human woman they are struggling over for. For years, Sariel has been dormant, but Reece awakens him, and if looking for and hoping he's found his soulmate isn't enough, the fallen are wanting back into Heaven and need Sariel to do it. Enter a fight to survive too. Such an enthralling story and I'm looking forward to the next book. Having read other spin-off series first, it was fun seeing some familiar characters show up.

Will M Watt and Susan Fouche perform this book in duet. I love Will and thought he did a great job for the most part. This was my first Susan book, and I feel that her performance wasn't for me.
